How it works

Important: at this time, this drop shipment program is only available for wholesale assorted koi mixes and limited to destinations in USA.

To advertise a wholesale assorted koi mix, you can copy and paste its image and koi details to share with your customers.

Visit our wholesale website often to stay up-to-date on koi stock levels. This will ensure that you don’t accidentally sell an out-of-stock koi mix.

Ordering instructions

After a customer buys an assorted koi mix from you, you can place an order through our website and then when you checkout please:

  1. select your customer’s desired date to receive the koi mix. Note: we need at least 8 days advance notice to prep the koi mix for shipping
  2. include your customer’s name and shipping address in the order note (or email it afterwards to info@kodamakoifarm.com).

Then Kodama Koi Farm will:

  • pack and ship the koi mix in blank boxes to your customer’s address via UPS
  • send you the UPS tracking numbers to share with your customer

Note: shipping is paid for separately and varies depending on the sizes of a koi and quantity being shipped. Normally UPS shipping is $125 per box. UPS shipping insurance is also available for additional fee of 4% of the koi’s value and covers delays due to mechanical breakdowns and missorts.

Additional terms:

  • If you send an incorrect customer address for a drop shipment, Kodama Koi Farm is not liable for the shipment; and no refunds will be offered.
  • If your customer insists on using a different shipper or air cargo, please contact us; and we’ll see what we can do.
  • To receive a store credit or refund for a sick, injured, or dead koi, call us at 808-354-7031 or email info@kodamakoifarm.com within 24 hours of the koi delivery and email us a picture of the koi as verification.
  • If the wrong koi mix was shipped to a customer, please notify us within 24 hours of the koi delivery and email a picture of the koi.

Caveats

  • Please notify your customers that there is a waiting period of at least 8 days prior to receiving the koi mix because there must be ample time to prep them and ensure that they are healthy enough for shipping.
  • If you plan to drop ship koi online, it it NOT recommended to sell our koi via eBay or Amazon because you are not able to control their sale policies; and they can ban you at anytime. Instead build your own online shop so you can control your inventory and how you sell.
