Description: Platinum of Chogoro is THE brand of platinum worldwide. His Platinum has pure platinum body with no dull color. When his father started around 1965, he mixed female Platinum from Yamazaki Koi Farm and male Gin Matsuba from Hoshiyone Koi Farm to make the parental Platinum. I think the success of his Platinum derives from mixing blood of Gin Matsuba from Hoshiyone. Platinum is a very sensitive variety and more difficult variety to breed than the others. It is quite amazing that the culling is as strict as the other varieties even in Platinum.
