Tadao Kondo
Born in Ojiya city of Niigata, cradle of Koi, in 1933. He has pursuited Koi's beauty as his art theme for more than 50 years. He does not see Koi just as an art. He understands breeder's great efforts to create the living art hobbyists' pleasure to them.
In addition, his continuous study on Koi such as going th every major Koi shows gives life to his art.
His passion towards Koi makes his Koi art different and superior from ohter Koi arts of anybody else.
You would see many Koi paintings every where in Ojiya city of Niigata. It is not too much to say that almost all of them are Mr. Kondo's works.
