 Set Up
The2nd Japan Nishikigoi Expo in Hawaii was held on November 10th and 11th at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa. Many varieties of Koi were on display at the event. Many people gathered around the tanks to see the Japanese swimming jewel, Nishikigoi. |

To celebrate the opening of The 2nd Japan Nishikigoi Expo, Mr. Noel G.Trainer, General Manager of
Hilton Hawaiian Village, Mr. George R. Ariyoshi, Chairman of Aloha Koi Appreciation Society and Mr. Taro Kodama, president
of Kodama Koi Farm delivered their opening address. |

“Koi Talk” by Mr.
Taro Kodama –November 10th 11:30AM-
In ”Koi Talk” two pairs of Koi were chosen as subjects of a quiz---the purpose being for guests to choose which koi they felt was most beautiful--- following this, Taro Kodama gave a detailed lecture on how to appreciate koi using the selected Koi in the tank as teaching tools for Koi Appreciation. |
